Join me as I speak with Bryan Collier, the co-author, and illustrator for the recently released children's book "Love is Loud: How Diane Nash Led the Civil Rights Movement".
Love is Loud tells the story of Diane Nash who began her work as an activist while in school as a teen and young adult in the south in the 1960s. Mr. Collier has illustrated over 46 books and considers it his calling to educate the public on important historical figures in the black community through his art.
